Mini Conference 2026

In conjunction with the Emerging Technology (ET) Conference, we are pleased to host a focused mini conference on September 9–10 in Washington, DC. While smaller in scale than our traditional annual event, our track will bring together distinguished members, government, industry, and academic leaders for keynote presentations, panel discussions, and thought-provoking conversations on the critical role of systems and mission engineering in delivering capabilities at the speed of need.

Sessions will explore key themes and challenges across the systems and mission engineering community, highlighting the integration of emerging technologies, mission-focused engineering approaches, digital transformation, and the practices required to rapidly deliver operational capability.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the broader ET Conference community, including keynote sessions, exhibitors, and networking opportunities. By bringing these communities together, we are creating a unique environment that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-disciplinary engagement across the engineering and technology communities.

Access to the Systems & Mission Engineering Mini Conference is included with Emerging Technology (ET) Conference registration. All S&ME sessions are part of the ET Conference program and available to registered ET Conference attendees.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Please note that the mini conference is for this year only. We will resume our regular Systems and Mission Engineering conference in Spring 2027.  More information and details about how to submit abstracts to that conference will be forthcoming.
We greatly value your participation in our conferences and your commitment to our shared success and collaboration across the defense community as we modernize our ways of working to deliver capability faster.
