Col Jonathan Sirard, USAF
Colonel Jonathan Sirard serves as the Strategy Division Chief for U.S. European Command J5, where he leads the development of long-term strategic plans to advance U.S. and allied security objectives across the European theater. He brings extensive experience in operational planning, international security cooperation, and joint force integration, with a career spanning multiple commands and global assignments.
Prior to his current role, Col Sirard served as Division Chief for 9th Air Force (AFCENT), overseeing operational strategy in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, and as Director of Operations for the Air Force Technical Applications Center, supporting global nuclear treaty monitoring and verification missions. His previous assignments include service as an Information Operations Planner for U.S. Strategic Command, Deputy Senior Airfield Authority during a combat deployment to Iraq, and leadership positions in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations.
Throughout his career, Col Sirard has been recognized for his ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans, strengthen partnerships, and deliver mission success in complex, multinational environments.
