Mr. Darren Kimura is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AI Squared, a software company delivering secure, enterprise-grade integration of AI and generative AI into existing business applications. Under his leadership, the company supports large-scale deployments across sectors including finance, healthcare, and national security.

Mr. Kimura is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in 23 countries. He has founded nine companies, is the named inventor on 14 patents, and has led the acquisition of over 65 patents and licenses globally. Over his career, he has raised more than $80 million in venture capital and private equity and secured over $2 billion in contracts.

Prior to AI Squared, Mr. Kimura served as President and COO of ZEDEDA and previously scaled a cleantech firm based on his invention of MicroCSP® solar technology to $50 million in revenue. He was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and to the Global Cleantech 100.

Mr. Kimura holds a degree from the University of Hawai‘i and completed executive education at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
