David Koch, a visionary leader in defense technology, directs DLA's R&D program, managing a substantial annual budget exceeding $100M. His expertise spans a wide range of critical areas, including castings, forgings, batteries, additive manufacturing, military uniforms, combat rations, micro-electronics, energy storage and distribution, and more. In 2024, he assumed the prestigious role of Chair of the Defense Department's Joint Defense Manufacturing Technology Panel. With a distinguished 23-year career in the US Air Force and subsequent leadership roles within DLA, David is committed to fostering innovation and enhancing the efficiency of defense logistics and supply chain operations.
