David Meyer, SES

Director of Futures Integration for the Futures and Concepts Center, U.S. Army Futures Command

Mr. David A. Meyer was inducted into the Senior Executive Service and appointed as Director of Futures Integration for the Futures and Concepts Center, U.S. Army Futures Command, Fort Eustis, VA in April of 2024. In this capacity, he is responsible for the integration of concepts, requirements, resources, and solutions to deliver Multi-Domain Operations capable forces.

Prior to his federal civil service career, Mr. Meyer served 30 years in the U.S. Army as an Armor Officer. In this capacity he served in FORSCOM, TRADOC, IMCOM and NATO leading diverse teams to solve complex problems including three assignments as an instructor. His final assignment on active duty was at FCC in various capacities to include the G35, the G3/5/7, Acting Deputy Director/ Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Initiatives.

Mr. Meyer is a native of Monrovia, MD and a graduate of Frostburg State University. His military education includes the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Advanced Military Studies Program and the Advanced Strategic Leadership Studies Program (War College), both at the US Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS). Mr. Meyer has held numerous leadership roles, bringing with him strong strategic leadership and a background firmly founded on delivering integrated capabilities to the Army of 2040 and beyond.

Mr. Meyer has been married to the former Angela Rizzuto of Poolesville, MD for over 29 years. They have two children.
