Dr. Adam Stulberg
Dr. Adam Stulberg is Chair of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech, where he also serves as Professor and Associate Director of the Strategic Energy Institute. A specialist in international security, Russian/Eurasian politics, energy geopolitics, and nuclear nonproliferation, Dr. Stulberg’s research explores issues such as the geopolitics of oil and gas networks, strategic stability, gray zone conflict, and the security implications of emerging technologies.
Before joining Georgia Tech, Dr. Stulberg was a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies and a Political Consultant at RAND. He has advised organizations including the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Carnegie Corporation, and collaborated with former Senator Sam Nunn on threat reduction and regional security policy. He is the author or editor of five books and has published widely in top academic and policy journals.
At Georgia Tech, Dr. Stulberg has been recognized with multiple teaching awards and has held leadership roles including Chair of the Sam Nunn–Bank of America Policy Forum. He earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from UCLA, an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan.
