Gaylia Campbell
Gaylia Campbell is Vice President of Engineering & Technology for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), a world leader in air defense, precision munitions, fire control, energy solutions, and advanced technologies and products for customers across the globe. She leads an organization of more than 6,000 employees and is responsible for the strategic direction and operational leadership of the Engineering & Technology organization. Her responsibilities include supporting capture, execution and sustainment of development and production programs, ensuring talent pipeline development for the engineering workforce, and developing comprehensive tools and processes to support the business. Ms. Campbell is also responsible for strategic technology advancements and adjacent market pursuits within MFC’s Applied Research organization.
She previously served as Vice President of Precision Fires/Combat Maneuver Systems. In this capacity, she was responsible for establishing strategy and execution oversight for the full product life cycle of a portfolio of domestic and international products including the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM); Army Tactical Missiles Systems (ATACMS) portfolio; the Guided Multiple
Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) portfolio; and the Launchers, Ground Vehicle and Combat Maneuver Systems portfolios (GV/CMS) as well as the Close Combat Systems portfolio including Hellfire, Joint Air to Ground Missile (JAGM) and Javelin.
Ms. Campbell was Vice President of Quality and Mission Success for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s MFC business area for nearly four years. Prior to that, she served as Director of Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Evolutionary Development Programs and Director of PAC-3 Production.
Ms. Campbell started her career with Lockheed Martin Corporation, beginning with increasing roles of responsibility in software engineering across many programs and has held key leadership positions in Engineering and Strategic Planning.
Ms. Campbell graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a Master of Science in Business Management. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SMU.
