Grant Schneider is the Vice Deputy Director for Strategic Stability on the Joint Staff and formerly served as the U.S. Federal Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Director for Cybersecurity Policy on the White House National Security Council. A recognized leader in cybersecurity, he has shaped national cyber strategy, strengthened critical infrastructure defenses, and led enterprise-wide risk mitigation initiatives across the federal government.

Mr. Schneider has held senior positions including Director for AUKUS at the NSC, Cybersecurity Strategist at CISA, and Professional Staff Member for the House Armed Services Committee. As CIO of the Defense Intelligence Agency, he led global IT services for over 250,000 users. He has taught cybersecurity policy at the University of Pennsylvania and continues to advise on national security, cyber risk, and defense innovation.
