Jeff Braun
Mr. Braun is a Principal Engineer and Capture Manager at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where he leads contracts and business development efforts for the Navy and Air Force. He is a subject matter expert in engineering and nuclear weapons and runs SPA’s internal curriculum on nuclear weapons design, physics, and effects.
He previously served on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon as a Scientific Nuclear Weapons Advisor, providing technical and strategic guidance to the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and supporting the Nuclear Weapons Council. Earlier in his career, Mr. Braun spent ten years at Sandia National Laboratories, where he led teams developing nuclear weapon systems and components.
Mr. Braun also serves as Director of Communications for the NDIA’s Integrated Precision Warfare Division, helping coordinate government, industry, and academic collaboration on defense challenges. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
