Trey Hodgkins
Trey Hodgkins is President and CEO of Hodgkins Consulting LLC, where he advises clients on government affairs, cybersecurity policy, federal acquisition, and market strategy. With more than three decades of experience at the intersection of technology, policy, and national security, he brings a proven record of helping organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes, engage effectively with government stakeholders, and position themselves for success in competitive markets.
Since founding Hodgkins Consulting in 2019, Hodgkins has counseled clients on issues spanning information technology, software assurance, cybersecurity standards, and cybersecurity supply chain risk management. He also serves as Chair of the Cybersecurity Division for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), leading industry engagement on legal and policy initiatives affecting the defense industrial base, and as a Director for the Procurement Round Table, a nonpartisan body that advises the U.S. government on improving federal acquisition.
Previously, Hodgkins served as Senior Vice President for the Public Sector at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), where he advanced technology industry priorities across federal, state, and local markets. Before ITI, he held senior leadership roles at TechAmerica, overseeing all public sector programs and directing national security and procurement policy initiatives. Earlier in his career, at the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), he created and led the organization’s Defense Programs, fostering partnerships between technology companies and the national security community.
