Mr. Jason L. Potter is the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition (ASN (RDA)), a position he has held since July 16, 2025. In this role, he oversees all acquisition strategy, policy, and execution for the Department of the Navy, including the Navy and Marine Corps. He also leads the Office of Naval Research. Mr. Potter brings extensive experience in managing complex R&D and procurement portfolios that support naval and joint force modernization efforts.
