Jeff Thomas is the Director for Science and Technology Integration at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), overseeing the integration of science, technology, and experimentation to inform Army modernization priorities.

He was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 2023 and previously served as DEVCOM’s Deputy Director for S&T Integration and as Deputy Director of the Army’s Human Systems Integration Program at the Pentagon. His prior roles span the RDT&E community, including leadership positions at Army Test and Evaluation Command and Program Executive Offices for EIS and IEW&S.

Mr. Thomas holds a master’s degree in Human Systems Integration from the Naval Postgraduate School and dual bachelor’s degrees in statistics and psychology from NC State. He is a recipient of the Black Engineer of the Year Award for Leadership in Modern Technology and multiple civilian service awards.
