Jeffrey Thomas, SES
As director for Science and Technology (S&T) Integration at the U.S. Army Combat
Capabilities Development Command, or DEVCOM, Mr. Jeff Thomas is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a world-class staff of engineers, scientists and planners integrating science and technology, program planning, budgeting and experimentation. His efforts help to inform Army technology investments supporting mid and far-term Warfighter capability needs.
Thomas was appointed to the senior executive service in February 2023, and has served in a variety of leadership and technical roles within the research, development, test and evaluation (RDTE) communities during his career. Those include deputy director of the Army’s Human Systems Integration Program for Headquarters Department of Army,
Deputy Chief of Staff G-1, at the Pentagon, assignments with the Army Test and Evaluation Command, Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems, and PEO for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors.
He holds a master’s degree in human systems integration from the Naval Postgraduate School, and dual bachelor’s degrees in statistics and in psychology from North Carolina State University.
