Kenneth Watson

Acting Commander, DLA Land and Maritime

Kenneth D. Watson is the Acting Commander of Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, where he oversees global logistics operations supporting U.S. military readiness, including management of 2.6 million repair parts and $4.8 billion in annual sales.

A member of the Senior Executive Service, Watson previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Readiness, advising on DoD’s $90 billion maintenance program. He has held key logistics leadership roles at U.S. Transportation Command, the Joint Staff, and U.S. Air Force, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Watson began his federal career in 1989 and is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Defense Senior Leader Development Program. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
