Dr. Suresh Rama serves as the Portfolio Development Executive for Digital Manufacturing at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where he leads strategic growth and innovation initiatives across the company’s advanced manufacturing portfolio. In this role, he drives the adoption of digital transformation technologies, collaborating with industry partners to deliver scalable, cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.

Prior to joining Siemens, Dr. Rama spent over a decade at Valiant TMS, where he held leadership positions including Director of Business Development for Global Innovation and Industry 4.0 and Director of Global Engineering and Innovation. He led R&D efforts in advanced manufacturing automation, deploying remote performance monitoring systems, and applying augmented and mixed reality for immersive design reviews.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Rama held quality and operations roles at Rain Bird Corporation and Chrysler, where he introduced lean quality systems and led cross-functional teams. He brings more than two decades of experience in engineering leadership and digital manufacturing. Dr. Rama holds a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Engineering and is based in the Detroit metropolitan area.
